About the Required MSF eCourse

✔ You must complete the eCourse before Orientation and bring your printed certificate.

📌 ORIENTATION (ALL COURSES)

Orientation is required for NRC, 3WNRC, and IRLC. This first class session includes:

✔ Check-in and paperwork
✔ Course overview and expectations
✔ Gear inspection
✔ Range location, arrival times, and safety instructions

❗ Note: No riding takes place during Orientation.

📌 CLASSROOM VS. RANGE — WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

NRC & 3WNRC: Orientation only — no classroom teaching. Riding begins on the range.

IRLC: Includes a short classroom review before riding begins.

📌 RANGE DAY EXPECTATIONS

New Rider Course (NRC) & 3-Wheel NRC

Day 1:

• Starting, stopping, balancing, clutch control, shifting

• Straight-line riding and turning

Day 2:

• Cornering, swerving, and maximum braking

• Riding evaluation toward the end of the day

📌 REQUIRED RIDING GEAR (ALL COURSES)

All students must wear the following:

• DOT-approved helmet

• Full-finger gloves

• Long-sleeve shirt or jacket

• Long pants (heavy denim or riding pants preferred)

• Over-the-ankle boots (sturdy, no canvas or slip-ons)

• Eye protection (face shield, sunglasses, or goggles)

💬 Limited loaner helmets may be available—bringing your own is strongly encouraged.
