"I just recently purchased my first Harley Davidson from a private party. I stopped in at Cox's Harley Davidson to see what kind of accessories were available at the showroom. Once inside I was greeted by the salesman Bill Linthicum who went the extra mile to find and order a jacket that was out of stock. Bill also took the time to show me several helmets that I was interested in, one in particular I liked in a matte black finish which was not in stock in my size. My wife went to pick up my jacket when it came in a week later, the part number for the helmet I liked was written on the back of Bill's business card. As my birthday was a week away my wife asked the sales person what the part number was for and when she saw that it was for the helmet I wanted she purchased it as well. Bill ordered the helmet in my size and color not knowing if I would be back to purchase it. I live about 45 min from three different Harley Davidson dealerships from my house but if this is any example of the kind of service I can expect then Cox's will get all my business (I am not Knocking the other dealerships). I normally don't write appreciation letters but I felt compelled after the service I received from Bill to let other customers know what they can expect from Cox's. Did I mention that I didn't even purchase my Harley from them but still got treated like their most valuable customer!!!!"

"OUTSTANDING!!!! I returned from a deployment and planned on purchasing a bike through Military Sales. I took my wife to see the bike I ordered and when I walked in and spoke to the sales person and informed him that I ordered a bike that would be delivered to Cox for pick-up he actually took the time to describe the bike to my wife. With all that being said, I cancelled my order through Military Sales and purchased my bike at Cox. Even though they didn't have exactly what I wanted they called me 2 days later saying that it would be in and could pick it up at the end of the week. These guys rock...."

"The first time I visited was 10 years ago, and Poochie greeted me at the door as I walked in.I felt as though I had come home.He showed me around,introduced me to everyone and made me feel as though I was the only one that mattered.After going through what bike,clothing and helmet,it was not in the cards at that time.The thing that struck me the most was Poochie did not for 1 second treat me any different.He took me aside and,explained the problem and told me that it was not the end, I would get my Harley one day.
Well that day came several years later and now I am the proud owner of my 2006 Softtail. I love this bike and enjoy riding any chance I get. Just wish that Poochie was here to see it. But I think he knows.
Everything and everyone at Cox's went BEYOND what any other dealership would have,(I went to alot from Charlotte to Greensboro). Kevin,Bart,David,Mary,and Larry and everyone else are outstanding at what they do and made my experience wonderful.Rider's Edge Class was great and my daughter is getting warmed up to get started.
Everyone I see I tell them about Cox's Harley and show them a picture of my bike and tell them to go nowhere else because they may beat price,but will get what they pay for after in service.

Folks,
I wanted to stop for a second this morning and salute you all for what you do on a daily basis. With quick replies and outstanding work from the sales department, I was able to purchase the bike I’ve dreamt of for years. My wife and I were both able to be outfitted with everything we would need to take that first ride. The parts and service departments have been stellar as well. After getting everything on the bike as I wanted it, I took it out. After laying my bike over, I received well-wishes from everyone I dealt with, and was treated just professionally and courteously while dealing with the wonderful world of insurance adjustors. I have never left Cox’s feeling confused or uneducated.
You all go above and beyond. It makes a difference. Aside from the fact that the time I spent on my bike was outstanding, the time I’ve spent dealing with Cox’s has been nothing short of an absolute joy. I recall seeing the testimonials on the wall nearest the service department, and can't help but to agree with everything they all said...

"Two weeks after moving to the area from out of state I was involved in an accident which caused severe damage to my 05 Road King Classic. My bike was taken to Cox's HD which was recommended by the insurance company. The insurance company stated Cox's repair estimate was $200 over their 'break even' point and wanted to total my bike. I did not want a new bike as I had my 05 RK set up to my liking & wasn't keen on starting over on a new bike. After Mark and Rob (service dept.) assured me my bike was repairable, they refigured the estimate getting it below the insurance 'break even' point.
I got my rebuilt RK back better than new six weeks after the insurance settled and have been riding the wheels off since.
I can't say enough about the great job Cox's service dept. did and how I was treated by the entire service dept. staff.
I did not know a single person at Cox's HD and was treated as if they knew me for years. Mark and Rob went 'above and beyond' in helping me get my Road King back on the road where it belongs.

"After owning several motorcycles over the years (Harleys, Hondas, Kawasaki and Triumph), I had the pleasure of visiting Cox's H-D of Asheboro and meeting 'Poochie' Cox. Mr. Cox was very personable and sincerely interested in my business. I had been shopping for a new '06 FLHTCUI. I knew that was the bike I wanted and shopped Cox's for a quote. Although price was my primary consideration in that visit, I soon realized that Cox's had much more to offer than just the 'best deal' on price. Mr. Cox quickly quoted a very competitive price on the new "Ultra Classic" that I desired. We shook hands and he referred me to Joy Hicks to conclude the sale and put my new bike on order. Each and every person I dealt with at the dealership in that visit, and every time since, has made me feel valued as a customer and a friend. I am perfectly willing to drive 75 miles each way to this dealership and have my Harley-Davidson bikes serviced. My wife always insists to ride with me so she can shop the Motorclothes department..(and she usually gets what she wants!). I have been riding for most of 39 years. The last six years, my wife and I have averaged over 10,000 miles per year on our bikes...(I presently have four). Of all the motorcycles I have owned over the years, I have only purchased one 'used'. All the rest were bought new at dealerships. Cox's Harley-Davidson is clearly the best dealership I have had the pleasure to deal with. I like their professionalism, I value their friendship and I trust them with my bikes. I am a customer for life!
